Generational thing! Encroachment is trespassing. In the modern age bad has encroached into good, why? Has bad got any relationship with good? Well, the opposite of bad is good. Bad is like darkness and good is like light. However, bad in the modern age has encroached into good. Bad is some times discerned as good. The man is bad means in modern language that the man is too good. Bad as in good has been echoed widely, and dictionary writers adopted it to co-relate to good. Now English tenses has bad, badder, baddest. Does this now mean good, gooder, goodest? If not, why not. I am lost in words like Nigeria that is lost in political corruption. How can one compare a badly rich man in Nigeria and a good rich man, hence bad has encroached into good? The man is bad in modern language, is it the same as bad Nigerian. Does the baddest man mean the goodest man? If not, why not? Is corruption bad? If bad means good, does corruption in Nigeria mean good thing? Can someone please help me out? Bad has been enlarged however, good remains marginalised. Does bad man in Nigeria mean good hard working man who earns a living by stealing government money? Could that be that the baddest man in Nigeria is fantastically corrupt or fantastically good hence the politicians have got richer? Every good Nigerian has become richer over the years. That means that the Nigerian political class has become badder. Does this now mean good thing for Nigeria hence bad has encroached into good? Do we unanimously agree that bad remains bad or as in Nigeria, bad is now good? Please my friends help me, I am lost in words as bad has encroached into good. Hello!
