It is obvious that Nigerians all over the world are calling for total restructure of Nigeria. IPOB and Nnamdi Kanu and others are calling for referendum. This means that every Nigerian presently is calling for one form of restructure or the other. Everyone is saying that Nigeria is not working as it is now. It is unofficially divided presently. Even the blind man can see the thin line of division in Nigeria hence I call for peaceful desolution of Nigeria to create four viable countries out of it that can compete effectively in the committee of nations. Reference to this dividsion is Professor Usman Yusuf reaction to the communique issued by the Southern Governors over the cattle rearing national issue is as a result of the acculturation of Fulani illusion of owning Nigeria as their inheritance. What an arrogant statement that Fulanis were not consulted prior to taking such decision. Nigerians are just waking up now. Tell me which of you of Southern extract is bold enough to make such statement to the Northern governors? However I simply ask Nigerians, what is this nonsense about? When and how the Fulanis have concluded that Nigeria belongst to them? For over five years now, Fulanis have been travelling from their place of abode in the north to the south and have continuously killed Southerners in their farms and villages and boldly claimed responsibility. President Jonathan was the first to cry out that his government has been infiltrated by terrorists and Nigerians dismissed him as a “weak man.”

Fulani tribe has been allowed by Nigerians to infiltrate into all departments of the government and populate themselves upon the hierarchy of the economy, politics and security of Nigeria unimpeded. However, decades down the line, from 1983 to date, the Fulanis have gained enormous grounds in the domination of Nigeria, yet they are part of the minorities of Nigeria. They used the strategy of intimidation and coercion to manage the affairs of Nigeria and boldly and openly claim that Nigeria is their inheritance. In fact, I clap my hands for them! Now, the boldness has grown so large that the so-called Professor Usman Yusuf is dictating for the whole Southern Governors. Culture is formed by the general belief of certain nation over a period of time; it becomes accustomed to them and is generally accepted as “our” way of life and “how” we do things here. The fact is that, Fulanis generally defend their people at all levels, even when it is glaring that they killed human beings.

However, it is hard to believe that Southerners, especially, the Igbos have no boundaries with the Fulanis, yet the fulanis boldly enter Igboland and kill our people. Is this not madness? The Eastern governors and leaders cowardly do nothing, only plead with them to stop killing. However and at the end, there is no arrest, no prosecution and no conviction. Fulanis in high places would issue directives and all the arrested fulani terrorists are released; no trial, no conviction. It is good to demand for one Nigeria by the Northern and fulani leaders however it must be done in an equitable manner. Igbos have never been slaves to any body and if the fulanis were thinking of one Nigeria, they would not have arrogated powers to themselves, using the presidential tools of control. All departments of the government are occupied and controlled by the Fulanis and someone in Abuja and in the North is coercing others for one Nigeria. Why must the Fulanis occupy all the departments of the government of Nigeria? are the fulanis more educated and talented than all other Nigerians? The obvious answer is “no”. The Igbos and Yorubas are certainly more educated than the Fulanis. Therefore, on what ground did the fulanis take over all the departments of the government of Nigeria? Does what is happaning in Nigeria presently demonstrate equity and fairness? The answer is overwhelming “no”.

However, I now ask the peoples of the Southern Nigeria, are we sure that we are mentally healthy? Are we sure that we are not demented in the South? It is either the South accept that the Fulanis are their masters and continue with one Nigeria as it is presently or they jointly demand for peaceful “restructure” of Nigeria and “referendum” for one Nigeria. This is the democratic way of settling an issue. Some people, for what they get from Abuja should stop coercing and intimidating others for one Nigeria and do the needful which is to set dates for referendum and begin the restructuring process. There is no amount of intimidation and coercion would restore Nigeria as one. The truth is that the Fulanis have selfishly and arrogantly divided Nigeria by their action and their deafening claim that Nigeria is their inheritance. I am not getting involved in whatever happened between the hausas and the fulanis. That is their problem to resolve. What I am saying is that, Igboland belong to the Igbos and any one can come and live in Igboland but Igbo land remains Igbo land. No one would take it from us by force. Igbo culture commands Igbos to defend their families and their properties with everything at their disposal. Igbo culture commands the Igbos that if you are chased into your home, you must defend your home with your life. Based on what is happening in Nigeria presently, the Igbos have been chased into their homes and it is our culture to defend ourselves. I have never heard that any race of the world defeated the Igbos. It has never happened and it will never happen. Igbos and other Nigerians are openly demanding for referendum for one Nigeria and restructure for a new political system. My question to the northern leaders is, why are you using the security agents of Nigeria to kill and intimidate the Igbos while the rest of Nigerians are calling and demanding for restructure and referendum? Why are you then killing and intimidating the Igbos for what the rest of Nigeria is calling for?

However, verily, verily I say to you, the “unity” of Nigeria depends on “dividing” it and we will live happily ever after. I am the messenger and I say it as I receive it. He who has ear let him hear.
