My appeal to the British people to tell their government to stop rigging Nigerian elections in the name of Gods. The consequences of rigging Nigerian elections are too high; too many people have died, too many properties lost. Is this not enough to drag UK to the criminal court? If not selfishness of Britain, what stopped them from granting independence to the three nations in 1914 instead of merging unrelated peoples with different languages and culture to live together as one? Count the loss of innocent lives and ask yourself, does this really worth it?

However, the British government are still doing the same thing in Nigeria today 100 years after. Based on the British relationship with Kenya, are we saying that Britain didn’t know about the kidnapping and the rendition of Nnamdi Kanu? Of course they do without a shred of doubt! How much more blood do we need to waste before it is dawn on Nigerians, Africans and indeed, the world that so many people have died in Nigeria unnecessarily? What really does Britain want from Nigerians, especially the Igbos? Have we not suffered enough directly and indirectly in the hands of British government? Look at the killing of innocent Deborah Yakubu and the killings of ordinary Igbos and others in the Middle Belt, up and down the graveyard called Nigeria? All that Nigeria could produce 100 years after is corruption at every level of Nigerian governments. Look at where Nigeria is presently since the last 7 years with unimaginable killings and criminality. No governments of Nigeria had ever been this brutal, killing the innocents in the name of agitation for better Nigeria and preserving the killers in the name of bandits instead of giving them their correct tag and treating them accordingly. All Nigerians kept quiet, watching the horrific incidences. It is in this government that I finally realise the enormous powers of the president; wielding power recklessly. What Nigerians thought was impossible is now possible; using one tribe to rule other tribes. Using federal might to descend on any dissenting voice; no one is safe up and down Nigeria, not even the moderate fulanis. This government has graduated one step further by presenting and winning the argument of Muslim-Muslim presidential ticket. Watch dafts in Nigeria defending it. Most politicians of Nigeria are supposed to be in prison for the crime committed against humanity but no, they are free walking around and educating us about corruption and good governance, enemies of progress!

However criminals have taken over the boundaries of Nigeria and gradually walking inwards. They have set up their bases at strategic locations of Nigeria, in the North, in the West and in the East; kidnapping and taking huge ransome to sustain their criminal activities and waiting for their moment to strike. Each time I write about this I reflect on the innocent face of Dr Obodiah Mailafia who is no more with us in this earth however, he had played his part in warning and educating Nigerians. He said and I quote “they will start war by 2023” and months later he was dead and up till now no one has told us what he died from, stories everywhere! We can pray as much as we can, “nature unaided dies” and God will not come down from Heaven to help us; there is no miracle without human factor, impossible! It took desperate measures by the Israelites for the “red sea” to part for the Israelites to pass when Pharaoh’s army was fast approaching behind them. When “Moses” struck with his rod, did the red sea part? The answer is no. It took desperate measures for some Israelis to jump into the sea. Why did God not respond immediately? It is because He has given man the power to do anything but man is still asking God to help him. Of course he will help you but man has to take action before miracle happens. Nigerians, it is your turn to do what the Israelites did and without taking action to find a solution to your problem, you will still be crying 100 years to come, blaming Britain, blaming Igbos and Fulanis without looking inwards.

However, Nigeria is a broken down vehicle with engine problems that must be fixed and MOT issued before it is put on the road again. Nigeria and Africa have lost a lot in the name of one-Nigeria which is impossible, never mind the ranting of corrupt politicians and the crumbs pickers at the corridors of power in Nigeria; none of them have the interests of Nigeria at heart. Nigerians and all the partners of Nigeria love her resources but do not love her survival and development. The best solution to Nigeria is to divide it peacefully. I am Obidient but Peter Obi and his group do not believe in divided Nigeria however, I wish them luck and will still campaign for them to give peace a chance. However Nigerians are in for a long haul and at the end, efforts would be wasted. As a professional manager and teacher one cannot solve any problems without revisiting the cause hence I keep saying that Nigeria is still standing on 15th January 1966 which will take us back to 1914 and without which we will still be groping in darkness for another 100 years to come. We can start by restructuring Nigeria and at the end we will still find out that we have wasted our time. The best solution is to divide Nigeria in order to unite it. You can call this hate speech if you will however, truth is very bitter. I am Obidient, yes but would that solve the problem? The answer is no!

My name still remains Oguchi Martins Egbujor

The messenger of truth and the boundary of ancient and modern. Listen to me, I may be here today and tomorrow I may not be there because it is once appointed for man to die however I urge every Nigerian not to die in silence. Let us face it, you must die one day. We want to go to Heaven but we do not want to die first, interesting!
