All the authors of January 1966 coup, including Major Ademoyega himself said that there were more Yorubas in the coup than the Igbos. Femi Fani-Kayode is a man of little or no integrity! Femi is not more educated than some of us; in fact, he knows nothing but politics. Femi Fani-Kayode lacks control of his mouth; he errs his infantile slur all the time. He abused Tinubu and called him names yet he campaigned for him. We know the story of the first and the second coup however, the intention of it, according to many writers points to the fact that Awolowo was aimed to be the beneficiary, and there were more Yorubas in the coup than the Igbos. Yes Nzeogwu might have succeeded in his own part however, what stopped others from playing their own part? Why can’t the Yorubas accept the part their own sons play in the coup? All Yoruba controlled media establishment have been silent on the topic but instead promoting false information and propaganda against the Igbos since 1966. The Yorubas are absolutely cowards, afraid to admit their part in the coup. Femi Fani-Kayode can say as much rubbish as he wants; thank God he is not more educated than most of us; we can even be his teacher. He can paint Babangida’s book as much as he wants however, we are all reading the same pages, and can understand English as much as he can! I advise Femi to read his brother’s book: Nigeria why we struck! That book by the only survivor of the coup potters carries a lot of weight than other books, and the cost of the book presently is £250. The book says nothing different from what Babangida had said. I challenge the Yorubas to own up their sons’ part in the January 1966 coup and stop hiding as there is no hiding place anymore for them; all your lies and propaganda are destined to be exposed! Femi Fani-Kayode should please stop lecturing us; we are lecturers already!
My name remains Oguchi Martins Egbujor, your messenger of truth. We do not want anymore lectures from men who were infants when the coup took place. Femi Fani-Kayode should know that I am from Owerri, the seat and centre of Education in Africa: we know the books more than he does. It is time for Femi Fani-Kayode to stop talking nonsense all the time! He who has ear let him hear!
