I really do not know the type of o’yes individuals that Nigerians push into national assembly and state assembly; they are all clowns! How can one says “yes” where he is supposed to say “no”? This is obvious that Nigerians go to the state and national assemblies for selfishness and gratification; none knows his responsibility to the people. They do not know that there is honour in opposition! You play the most critical role in opposition to hold the government to account. State and national assembly are riddled with dafts who do not know their left from their right; Senator Natasha’s case, including Rivers State’ Emergency approval and Nnamdi Kanu’s kidnap and detention brought in a wholesome lack of knowledge, understanding and skills in the upper and lower chambers to make meaningful laws to manage the country. It is sad that most Nigerians have been conditioned to a low level of thinking. They all now think of their stomachs, and their pockets, thereby, maintaining mediocrity, my-turn syndrome, and ineptitude at all levels! It is sad, and Nigeria would not move an inch forward from January 15th 1966 until all injustices are corrected and a new path is drawn on political governance of Nigeria which is to create four or five countries out of Nigeria. Until such a time, Nigeria remains an International mockery!
