I and other Nigerians have written time without numbers that the biggest problems of Nigeria are (1) the police and (2) the judicial as they are the custodians of Nigerian laws and constitution. Any day the right men take over those two arms of government, justice would reign! Any other departments, such as iNECK are just a distraction. If the police and justice systems are working as it should be, more than 95% of those in governments, both past and present should be in prison. Nigerians scream of the government without stopping and pondering why the two systems of government have been taken over by the corrupt system of government. Most of you are spending your time talking nonsense and fighting the Igbos without thinking of a way to free yourselves. To Nigerians, especially the southern Nigerians, Igbos are their only problem instead of finding a way to liberate themselves from the bondage of corruption and anarchy.
However, Dele Farotimi has woken up as the same way Dele Giwa woke up and he was killed by his own government. Nigeria stinks like pit-toilet and many Nigerians who have lost their thinking faculties stink the way too. The presumption of justice is that one is innocent until proven guilty however, in Nigeria one is guilty until proven innocent; shame on you all! Are the Nigerian police getting better and richer than other Nigerians by cooperating with corrupt influential Nigerians? No, they are one of the poorest yet they join with the corrupt government and the powers that be in oppressing those they are supposed to protect.
However, Defamation is a civil case, not a criminal case; what is the police matter in it? The UK law does not allow police to detain a person for more than 48 hours, and I believe that is the same in Nigeria. If that is the case why is Dele Farotimi, Nonsonkwa of Imo and others too numerous to mention are doing in Nigerian detention camps? Shame on Nigerians who allowed themselves to be cowed and bullied, and the police and justice systems who allowed themselves to be used to suppressed innocent Nigerians!
