Nigerians and their government, including Yakubu Gowon are evil! Nigerian soldiers with Fulani militia, including some Yoruba bigots massacred hundreds of thousand of innocent Igbos up and down the country from July 1966 till 1970, no remorse, no apologies, and Nigerian authority wants the Igbos to close the chapter and move on. May the God of the Igbos destroy any mouths that speeaketh that! Disgruntled Nigerian army officers staged a coup without the consent of ordinary Igbo man or indeed, ordinary Nigeria; due to jealousy-based hatred to the Igbos, the North, with full knowledge of Nigerian authorities, besieged on the Igbos, killing at will without anyone raising his voice to stop it, not Gowan, not the emirs of the north, and certainly, not elders of the Yorubas. The governor of the Mid-western Nigeria could not even stop the massacre of his own people in Asaba. Ojukwu and other prominent individuals made efforts to stop the genocide however, Yakubu Gowon did not do anything practical to urge northerners to stop killing innocent Igbos and other Easterners. Exactly 60 (sixty) years, 1966-2026, someone, somewhere is talking nonsense, telling the Igbos not to remember their dead. May the God of the Igbos destroy any mouths that speak ill against Biafran Day Remembrance!

Igbos have tolerated anything thrown at them, however, this insult is one too many; it is our rights to honour our dead, and without them (our martyrs), we would have all died. Example is the massacre at Asaba. The same could have happened in Onitsha, Enugu, Owerri, Aba and Portharcourt. Nigerians are evil, and up till date, there is no remorse and certainly, no apologies from the northern people, no apologies from Yakubu Gowon, and certainly, not from the Yorubas. To add salt to injury, Gowon wrote his long awaited memoir without any iota of truth in it; an old man heading to the grave could not reconcile with his conscience and his gods. He chose to tell lies, fabricating lies upon lies to make himself look good, however, with that memoir, history has forever dondemned Yakubu Gowon as his spirit will not rest, not in life, and certainly not in dead. Hundreds (100s) of thousands of innocent men, women, childred, babies, even the unborn babies were removed from their mothers’ womb and slaughtered in northern Nigeria. Igbos waited 60 (sixty) years for an apology, and instead, Gowon poured Kerozine in a burning fire, just to rob it in to the Igbos; wicked, very wicked man! No man should tell the Igbos not to mourn their death. Igbos are forgiving people, however, we cannot forget the massacre of over 3 (three) million of our uncles, aunties, fathers, brothers and sisters, both young and old!

My name remains Oguchi Martins Egbujor, your messenger of truth. Igbos survived the massacre by Gowon, TY Danjuma and Murtala Muhammed. We also survived the massacre by Muhammadu Buhari, another evil man. Buhari, for 8 (eight) years created chaos in Igboland to kill Igbo youth of fighting age because they raised Biafran flag to remind themselves of the heroism of those before them. If anyone thinks that he can shut Igbos up regarding 1966 massacre, such a person is suffering from disilusionment, and certainly, must be suffering from schizophrenia. As I have written some years ago, on Biafra I stand, before then, I am a Nigeria. The least we will accept from Nigeria is regional government system where all Igbos are under one umbrella. Hog the electric post or transformer if you do not like it. I possess the spirit of Dr Ezeife, Oha Mbazulike Amaechi and others who stood on the freedom of the Igbos; we cannot be intimidated into submission. You have locked Nnamdi Kalu up, and believing that would have caged the Igbos up but you are disappointed, aint you? You killed us without mercy, and you are asking us to rejoice with you; May the God of the Igbos destroy any hands that were raised to destroy the Igbos, now and forever! 30th May will always be Igbo Remembrance Day, like it or hate it, that is your business. He who has ear let him hear!
