The disappearance of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu after Nigerian army attacked his home is a cause for concern. The Igbos are taking it lightly. Nnamdi Kanu may not be alive. He may have been killed by the Nigerian army deliberately or mistakingly. It is wrong and stupid of Orji Kalu to have given false information to the world, knowing fully well that he was talking rubbish. The trouble is, all the Igbos whose livelihood depend on politics are afraid of speaking out for the sake of their pockets. Nigerians of all tribes MUST know that democracy is part of Igbo culture. There is no where in the world where their freedom of speech and expression is more than that in Igboland. Igbos do things by consensus. No Igbo man imposes his will on others.

Nigerians MUST try to learn Igbo culture. The truth is, while the Igbos respect their leaders, no leader imposes anything on ordinary Igbo man. Those in Abuja asking the so-called Igbo leaders to subdue the Biafran agitators are simply wasting their time as none of the so-called leaders can command his village, talkless of influencing the entire Igbos. Nigerians MUST be warned, Igbo youth and their mothers wield more power than the so-called political leaders in Abuja. Clamping down on Igbo youth agitating for Biafra and a better life is a dangerous move by the Buhari-led Nigerian government. All Nigerians MUST know this and it is a fact that more than 99% of the Igbos all around the world are in support of Biafra. Let no one fool himself, Igbos want Biafra and they will get it no matter how long it takes. Biafra will either manifest before you or behind you but it must surely happen. Killing and maiming Igbo youth will NEVER stop the agitation instead it energises the people. Nigerians MUST stop listening to the so-called politicians who are frightened to their willie. Nnamdi Kanu may have got his strategy wrong, Uwazuruike may have got his strategy wrong, Ojukwu might have got his strategy wrong, however the truth is that all Igbos want Biafra irrespective of whether the strategies are right or wrong. Nigerians MUST get used to this and stop asking for the heads of Igbo leaders who want to liberate their people. The world may be keeping quiet now BUT the attrocities committed against the Igbos will surely come to hunt them.

Those so-called Igbo leaders in front of you in Abuja cannot even command their kindred, talkless of commanding the Igbos. Nigerians MUST learnt about the Igbos and ttheir way of life. You are wasting your time imposing anything on the Igbos as it will never work. Every Igbo man is his own island and you have to negotiate with him. You cannot command an Igbo man, and this is the reason why the Igbos do things by consensus. This is the reason why our grand mothers and great grand mothers went to war with the colonial masters in 1929 to free their husbands. Nigerians and the Nigerian government must learn lesson from what is happening in Britain. Scotland and Northern Ireland are semi independent yet they are part of United Kingdom. Scotland even has its own currency. The Westminister’s laws are not binding on Scotland and Northern Ireland. It is only for England and Wales. If Nigerians and Nigerian government must know, Yorkshire is now asking for autonmy, and with time they will get it. The road to “Independence” is referendum. The Spanish government can only bully the Catalonians, the world is watching. The time will come when they will say enough is enough. Igbo politicians must learn from Catalonia and Southern Cameroon. You must not betray your people for the sake of money. An attack on Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is a hot slap on the Igbos. Together we stand, and divided we all fall. God forbit! Igbos it is time we woke up, we have been snoring for too long. There is an Igbo adage that says that when a goat eats the yam in your neighbour’s barn and you did not chase it away, the goat will simply stroll into your own barn and eat your yam also. Nigerian government, where is Nnamdi Kanu? Intimidating the Igbos and killing their youth will NEVER stop the agitation for Biafra. On Biafra I stand, before then I am a law abiding Nigerian asking for the referendum for the independence of Biafra. He who has ear let him hear.
