The dark continent of Africa is still dark one hundred years after. Darkness is still hovering over the skies of Africa. It is time Africa stood on its feet. Africans are aware of Western manipulations, however could leaders of Africa disobey the West for once, look inward and do the right thing. Should the West continue to dictate for African leaders, by the next one hundred years Africa will remain as it is today. Again, that depends on your definition of development. The Western establishment enshrined corruption in Africa to enable them to exploit its economy. Some African leaders are made to be rich and tyrannical by the West, usurping power to their advantage hence every election in Africa is dictated and rigged by the West, using their puppets. Africa does not lack leaders, however the real leaders of Africa are frightened away or intimidated into giving up or being destroyed using Western power. There were three leaders in African, namely Gadaffi, Patrice Lumumba and Thomas Sankaran. Another is Mugabe but the West sabotaged his country’s economy.
 
Those Westerners who write good articles and lobby for African liberation have to start from inside by advising their governments to limit their actions of economic influence. Western leaders know that we know their actions of divide and rule; make few leaders rich and lord them over others in Africa as one who holds power wields it according to western dictation. Western countries should stop sabotaging African economy. Western countries should stop forcing Africa into unnecessary war. Africa has leaders and knows what to do but the West impose corrupt leaders on the people. Some leaders meant well on their way to power however they are indoctrinated when they assume responsibility to dance Western tune or risk being disgraced out of office by Western propaganda, withholding economic tools, and scheming of military action. For Africa to stand on its feet to develop, the West has to stand back and allow the people to manage their economy according to their culture without fear of threat from UN, WTO, IMF, World Bank, NATO and other controlling agents of the West. Could Africa learn to collectively say “NO” to the West for once? When that day comes, it will be the beginning of African development. I am sorry if I offend anyone, however I write as I see the world today. He who has ear let him hear.😍
