The dust is now settled. The UK politicians are debating or should I say arguing among themselves on how to address the cause of the recent riot in England. Good thing, but I laughed when I heard the Acting Police Chief calling on parents to control their children. Did the Police chief not understand that the children in the United Kingdom, ‘termed the children of the Queen’ were authorised at birth not to obey their parents? Which land does the Acting Police Chief live? Does he not know that the children have no respect for their parents due to the ‘Political Correctness’ of British politics enshrined in law? The law made children law unto themselves. They are above their parents, their teachers and the police. Police cannot do anything to them as the children do not respect them. The children are the authority by themselves. They know their rights. They even know that the court may not even do anything to them. Any land that does not respect the police is a lawless land.
Now then, what is the solution? The solution is this, review the law that gave children the ultimate power. Spare the rod and spoil the child. Discipline has to be enshrine at school, at home and on the street. Children have to respect their parents, their teachers and the Police. The police and the court should be permitted to stop dragging parents about when they want to train their children. I know that some people may use excessive force to bully (in the name of training) the children but the law will provide for that. Children MUST be protected at all times. I heard someone saying that and I agree entirely, but how? There must be ‘checks and balances.’ The riot was wide spread, showing that it was not an issue of black and white, though each group had their reason for rioting. Are the reasons enough to cause mayhem? Though criminals mingled amongst them to loot and destroy. Collectively, everyone condemned the riot and its destruction but does this not call for everyone to think again?
The government and the politicians MUST listen to the shrill voices like mine. A stitch in time saves nine. The politicians should now look at the law again and review it, to provide for the United Kingdom of today. The politicians MUST avoid ‘political correctness’ for the sake of their votes. However, the debate goes on, it MUST provide for the Police, the Parents and the Teachers. These three organs work together to train a child. Does this make sense?
