Man is desperately seeking for peace of mind. This article is the continuation of my programme to educate mankind to do the right thing. There is tension and stress all over the world due to war and rumours of war and injustice in the modern world. All over the world there is “Man’s desire for Peace” hence there is endless petition to God (Creator) in the name of prayer irrespective of one’s religion. This article is my basic way of contributing to man’s development for inner peace of mind. For man to achieve peace of mind, he has to understand the Thought of Creation and begin to act according to the Thought of Creation.

The Thought of Creation

Dr Michael Laitman said in his book that the Thought of Creation is to “give delight and pleasure” by making a creature that is similar to its maker. This Thought creates a “Will to receive delight and pleasure.” To understand the Thought of Creation one needs to change his ways of endless want of material wealth, pleasure, power and recognition. It is good for man to acquire wealth, pleasure and power however none of these gives man peace of mind of which he craved for. It is natural that every man on earth seeks for peace of mind, and that leads man to acquire wealth, power and recognition however the more material wealth man acquires, the more his heart yearns for peace which is always moving away from him. Man has come to understand that “material wealth” does not give him peace, and he desperately want peace and he is seeking for it everywhere. However they say that peace is within you, really? To enjoy peace of mind man has to change his ways and correct his ways in line with nature.

The Correction

To attain spiritual reality, man has to change his ways of thinking, feeling and being to give pleasure and joy to another man. That means making the next person happy. Remember love thy neighbour as thyself. The happiness and joy of the next person you helped increases your pleasure and God the creator is happy with you. Please note that anything that puts a smile on your neighbour will enable God to be pleased with you and in return would put a smile on your face as well. I can see someone cursing and murmuring, “yeah what has he done to put a smile on his neighbours” himself. You are right but think about your happiness and peace of mind. Every man to his God and is accountable for his actions.

However God the Creator gives you pleasure and you give pleasure to another person. Try to make “giving” a habit and when you have made this process your habit by giving to others with pleasure as God your Creator gives you, your God will reciprocate your action with pleasure. Please take note that you are giving with the intention to please your fellow man and not to take credit for it. If you give with the intention of taking the credit for it, you will not attain spirituality. You are the Image and Likeness of God. God gives you pleasure or should I say His Spirit and for you to understand the Thought of Creation, you have to do so in spirit. To be the Image and Likeness of God the Creator you have to love thy neighbour as thyself by willingly giving pleasure to your fellow man with the intention of loving him as thyself. Deliberately practising the above recommendation is the beginning of love thy neighbour and that will increase your happiness, there increasing the joy and happiness within your environment selflessly will improve the world around you and that will give you peace. This is where spirituality in your world begins. Love thy neighbour as thy God love you! The question I hear you ask is “how can I achieve spiritual pleasure that gives me inner peace”?

To Attain Spirituality

The technique for attaining spirituality is to intensify the desire for “spirituality” by raising the Thought of man. The “intention” is to enjoy spiritual pleasure, and that needs raising the thought of man; coming out from Darkness to Light. The Essence of life is to enjoy “Light” to the fullest. Increasing the desire for spiritual pleasure is the beginning of Light. To increase the desire for spiritual pleasure man has to “willingly” and “deliberately” do the following:-

  • Talk about spiritual pleasure
  • Picture spiritual pleasure
  • Read about spiritual pleasure
  • Think about spiritual pleasure
  • Do all you can to focus your attention on spiritual pleasure

The most powerful tool to intensify the desire for spiritual pleasure is the “Environment” in which you live and operate. You have to support the environment to receive pleasure by “giving” pleasure to another man within your environment. Do all you can to support your neighbour with the intention to selflessly put a smile on your neighbour’s face. Do all you can to support those around you. The more happy and joyful faces around you the more happier you become and your God the Creator will reciprocate. Love thy neighbour as thyself! Do this as a habit with the intention to please others, you will begin to be an Image and Likeness of God. Your world would be continuously multiplied with happiness and joy. The ultimate is PEACE upon you as you intentionally give pleasure to your fellow man, God will multiply your pleasure.

I am just the messenger and it is my responsibility to contribute to the development of mankind to see the Light of God. We all have the responsibility to support mankind one way or the other. Do not get me wrong, I am still searching for peace by seeking the face of God. The Scripture says “not by power, not by might, by My Spirit says the Lord. No amount of material wealth can give a man peace on earth. Man has to change his ways by doing more good than evil. Love thy neighbour as thyself. Do not look at what others are doing; focus on what you are doing to please your God.  To please your God and to achieve spiritual pleasure, one has to please his fellow man with the intention of not seeking for anything from him in return. Make it a duty to acquire the habit of pleasing others without seeking for any benefit in return. God the Creator will please you as you please your neighbour, thereby giving you rest. Peace of mind is dependent upon you pleasing others around you. When you have done this, ask and it shall be given unto you. The Essence of life is to enjoy the Light of God to the fullest however you have to first of all rise up above the level of man to develop your sixth sense. You have to understand the Thought of Creation in order to attain spirituality and enjoy spiritual pleasure. “I and my Father are one and I am the Image and Likeness of God.”
