Everyone may be startled reading the caption of this article. First, let us understand the meaning of colonisation from my own perspective, then we can review it from the Igbo and Nigerian perspectives. Colonisation is my view is “controlling someone against his will by using the oppressive and repressive instruments of government”. Coercing someone to do what he would not ordinarily consent to do is repression or suppression. I am an educated man just like you. I have advanced my education to a height that I can see and read the handwriting on the wall. I have elevated myself to a height that I can understand the intention behind a speech or action. I am referring to myself; I do not know what you think about yourself. I have taken a position in my life that I cannot be influenced by anyone with the intention of gratification. I had been in a position of soiling my hand, and I stepped backward. Do not get me wrong, I am talking about myself. You know yourself; can you say the same thing about yourself? I am not a PhD holder, and I have not got any intention of acquiring a PhD qualification because I do not need it. I do not mean any offense to anyone. I am talking confidentily about myself; I do not know about you. It is your responsibility to talking about yourself or get others to talk about yourself. Whatever I am writing in this article is how my spirit asked me to write it. I am obeying the dictate of my spirit. I have explained to you the meaning of colonisation in my world; how your world sees it is your responsibility.

However, you can read this article but I am not writing it for you; I am writing it for posterity yet unborn because your understanding has been retarded by the education of the colonial masters, be it white or black. I have learnt to learn. It is one’s responsibility to educate himself after colonial education. Colonial education is a smokescreen and you cannot see properly through it though it has given you a platform to launch or relaunch your education. It is about unlearning to learn the right way of education. You may say that I am writing rubbish but remember that I am not writing for you; I am writing to the Igbos yet unborn. You are for today, you brood of vipers but I am not. I am humane, and I seek for the betterment of mankind. Nigerians are swimming in the illussion of oneness according to lack of education and information. We are educated illiterates! Most of us do not know their left from their right yet they chirrup loudest out of ignorance and misinformation. I am taking everyone to task; what is your definition and understanding of colonisation? Does it fit in with what is happening in Biafranland today? Most of you as backward in understanding as you are would say that I am talking nonsense. It is nonsense to you because you lack common understanding, and or your mouth is stuffed with crumbs from the corridors of power and corruption. The oppression and repression of the Igbos in Nigeria is unprecedented in the world; not even the oppression and persecution of the Jews can compare to that yet Nigerians, as biased as they are cannot see it because they lack vision and common understanding. Majority of Nigerians are ignorant of what the Igbos are going through in Nigeria. It was all started by Yoruba-led Newspapers in 1967; they propagated fake news against the Igbos to the extent that ordinary innocent Yoruba man is ignorant of the issues that led to the civil war. The civil war ended in 1970, and all the actions of Nigerian government against the Igbos led to the irredentism and the emergence of Biafran agitation.

Do you know as a Nigerian and indeed, as African that war is seriously going on in the East as at today? Are you aware that Nigerian combined forces have been using sledge hammers to kill flies in the East? Do you know as a Nigerian and indeed, African that the only presence of the federal republic of Nigeria in Igboland is the federal government office buildings and the Federal Universities? Do you know that fifty three (53) years after the civil war, Nigerian government with the cooperation of the British government are still holding Igbo money in Nigerian banks? Do you know that Nigerian government compensated the rebels of Biafra from the old River States with the properties of the Igbos in Portharcourt? Do you know that not a single property of Igboman was seized in Kano? The then Emir of Kano protected Igbo properties and handed it back to the owners however, to divide the East, the Ijaw citizens of the old River State were encouraged to occupy the properties of Igbomen? Until the emergence of Obasanjo in 1999, Igbos were give “information minister” just to be the mouthpiece of the federal government? Do you know the reason why Ebitu Ukiwe was removed as the chief of staff supreme headquarters? Do you know the reason why Igbos are mercilessly killed up and down the country of Nigeria without any repercussion? If you did not know anything, at least you know what happened in February and March 2023 elections, don’t you? If what you are reading now is not oppression and suppression please let me know what they are supposed to be. Do you know that Ex-president Muhammed Buhari killed more Igbos in eight years than the coup and the follow-up killings of July 1966? Do you know that the Igbos have been suffering in silence until the emergence of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu and his IPOB?

However, let me give you examples of marginalisation, repression and suppression of the Igbos in Nigeria. Every Igboman has a story to tell about the repression and suppression of being Igbos. Do you know that the Igbos are removed from their offices unjustly without any repercussion? Let me give you an example: My uncle was the assistant general manager and the ports manager of Nigerian ports authority in the late 1970s; a respected northern individual was just a supervisor. This man committed a fraud that led to Obasanjo as the head of state of Nigeria removed my uncle unceremoniously. It was later found out that my uncle was innocent. From that fraud that respected northern individual became a rich man and a celebrated northern personality. The removal of my uncle was as a result of him being an Igboman. Obasanjo is alive, let him dispute this claim. There is another example of one of my uncles, a true son of Owerri; he was a comptroller of customs in the 1980s. The man was removed unceremoniously without notice by the minister of internal affairs of Babangida administration with an unfounded accusation of bribery and corruption. The man heard about his removal on radio when he was outside in the morning waiting for his driver to bring the car. Those of you who are not Igbo may not understand all these maltreatments against the Igbos. The list of repression and suppression is endless in the East of Nigeria. Do you know that the corrupt police Abba Kyari killed so many young people before he was removed, not by Nigerian government but by being found guilty in the USA? I believe that was the time Buhari recruited Asari Dokubo to pretend as unknown gunman to kill and maim Igbos and their families. Igboland is littered with jobless granduates at all levels hence the only Igboman that talks good about Nigeria is funded, aided and abetted by the government. Igbos are suppressed at all levels from the military to the police and to political appointment. As Yoruba Newspapers suppressed the truth from 1967 so is the present media establishments, majority of which are owned by the Yorubas. I do not know why they peddle false information against the Igbos. It is not just the Yorubas, Igbos are used to suppress the Igbos. Most politicians are the agents of the federal government whose jobs are to obey orders or be removed!

Based on the above, can anyone tell me what colonialism is? We are busy talking about colonialism of the white against the black however, the in-thing in Nigeria and other parts of Africa is the black being colonised by the black! You can only argue with me if you lack understanding. Many of us do lack understanding and are being confused with their colonial paper qualifications. The issue is that colonialism was planned for extinction by Balewa and Azikiwe’s government with robust African development plan however, the British government kept it going by using Nigerians to implement colonialism. If you read what Gowon claimed to have transpired between him and a British journalist onboard a ship on his way back from a training course in London in 1966; the journalist was busy trying to convince Gowon that coup was eminent in Nigeria and indirectly telling him that he was one of those chosen to lead the new Nigeria without the intellects of Balewa and Zik. Remember that the coup had not happened yet and the journalist was on his way to cover it; how did he know about it and why? The colonial masters, in this case the British, are using Nigerian government to suppress the Igbos, why? Remember that in the late 1950s, the British journalist referred to Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe as the “six-foot” of arrogance; why did the British hate Zik so much that they did not want him to lead Nigeria? The reason is that Zik had the ability and capability of turning Nigeria into a developed country. The British thought that Tafawa Balewa was someone they could manage but it was not to be so; Balewa and Zik were working hand-in-hand to develop Nigeria and the only way to stop it is to introduce military government in Nigeria. Nzeogwu and his group were stupid, very naive! However, look at it very closely, Gowon and Ojukwu almost reached a compromise but the British abborted it, thereby leading to the civil war. From then till now, Igbos have been suppressed, repressed and marginalised. Reference is Peter Obi’s presidential mandate. The only reason that Peter Obi was robbed of his presidency is because he is an Igboman. Peter Obi, like others before him (Dr Azikiwe and General Aguiyi Ironsi) is still in denial; very focused on one-Nigeria that will never happen. One-Nigeria is an illussion, only the British government is the beneficiary! Nigerians are just waking up to reality, not that they did not know that persecution is going on in the East but due to lack of understanding, it was termed Biafra and IPOB! In the eyes of other Nigerians Biafrans are not humans and must be killed for asking for self-determination! Nigerians were indoctrinated to hate the Igbos unjustly for fiftty three (53) years and now the chicken has come home to roost, they are selfishly crying. Other Nigerians must stop crying; the injustice was aimed at the Igbos and not at them; they were just caught up in the act that was meted out to the Igbos. Can you replay Tinubu’s statement at the United Nations in New York; he said that “referendum” would not happen under his watch. That is, no matter what the Igbos say or want, they would forever be subjected to suppression in Nigeria. That is black-on-black colonisation! Igbos want freedom, and we will get it no matter what Igbo politicians say or do about it.

Remember that I am not writing this article to please you. In fact, I am writing it to upset you because you do not like to hear the truth and here you go with the truth. Igbos are leaving Nigeria, Peter Obi presidency or not. We have had enough of repression, oppression, suppression and the blood letting of innocent Igbos. Let all nations of Nigeria rule themselves; we can seek for alliance according to the international rule. It is the right of the Igbos for self-determination! We are forced to leave Nigeria after fifty (50) years of continued oppression and suppression. It is an unwritten constitution that the Igbos can not be president of Nigeria again; It happened against Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe, it happened against Dr Ekwueme and it is happening against Peter Obi. If you do not know what “black-on-black” colonisation means, look into the Igbo and Biafra case! Orji Uzor Kanu and Rochas Okorocha crying on National television cannot change anything; Nigeria want you as slave, not the master! That imbecilic figure of Dave Umahi is akin to a new-born baby who is very excited coming into the world, very pampering at first but bound to change as he grows up. Nyesom Nwike is being rewarded with his Obigbo massacre; Hope Uzodinma is supported by the federal government to play his part in suppressing and repressing of his people, the Igbos. In the frame now is Asari Dokubo, the “piglet” who is supported by Buhari to kill young Igbos and destroy their abode. The police and the security agents are under instruction to kill and maim in the East. The security forces are human beings and that was not what they were trained to do hence the job was subcontracted to Asari Dokubo and Ebubeagu! Remember that I am not writing for you; I am writing for the posterity yet unborn; so do not start moaning! My job is education and that is what I am doing to educate the minds of Nigerians, including other Africans and blacks all over the world about the evil that is happening against the Igbos of Nigeria in their own home. Black-on-black colonisation is happening here in Nigeria against the Igbos. If you do not agree with me, please let us know what is your definition of colonisation. I wrote an article few years back titled “On Biafra I stand, before then I am a Nigerian”. I am categorically stating the same, and requesting for urgent referendum and a date for the Igbos to exit Nigeria. We cannot wait to get out of Nigeria as it is evil against the Igbos. Do not listen to any politician as they are talking nonssense! Igbos are tired of Nigeria as nothing good will ever come out of it! We want liberation; we want emancipation; we want freedom. The suffering of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, the Igbos in general and others before us can never be in vain! Nigeria please let my people go!

Igbos have nothing against any nations and tribes of Nigeria. In fact, we will forever love Nigerians however, we want self-determination and it is our inalienable right to do so! Igbos would foreveer forge good relationship with other Nigerians. A lot of unofficially documented evil of Nigeria has taken place in Igboland; it is on record. We do not want anymore bloodshed in the East; a lot of people have died for just proclaiming their rights and citizenry. Elders of Africa must call Nigeria to order. Igbos are not wanted in Nigeria and they are not allowed to leave. The last straw is the suppression of Obidient mandate because he is Igbo. Peter Obi must do a u-turn to his home and to his people, to allow Nigerians to practise their politics according to their culture of divide and rule. Let my people go! We want freedom; we want Biafra, to create a home for all our relatives enslaved in America and all over the world to return home. The spirit of our ancestors is still crying for emancipation and unity of their children! He who has ear let him hear!
