War Without End (WWE) between Israel and Palestine, who care? I was shocked by the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin, the then Prime Minister of Israel in November 1995 as a result of his Oslo Accord in Norway September 1993 between him and Mahmoud Abbas. Yitzhak Rabin was genuine in his search for peace, and supported by Jordan, he brokered peace for Palestinians as well as Israelis without the knowledge of United State, Europe and United Nations. The whole world applauded him. Oslo Accord led the foundation of Palestinian Authority, and a limited control was granted to the Palestinians to pave the way for the “two-state solution” to peace for the two brothers who have been fighting since 1948.

Oslo Accord, focused on peace caused the untimely death of Yitzhak Rabin, killed by his own citizen Yigal Amir, a 25 year old nationalist who loved his country so much that he could not bear sharing it with the Palestinian. Has peace come to Israel or Palestine after the killing? The answer is a definite “NO”. My question is, who is actually benefiting from the unending war between Israel and Palestine? What is wrong with the two-state solution pioneered by Yitzhak Rabin, Mahmoud Abbas, King of Jordan and Yasir Arafat? Who does not want peace in the Middle East?

The latest outbreak of hostility between these two brothers is a cause for concern. In the morning of 6th October 2023, Hamas started by sending thousands of rockets to Israel occupied territories, killing hundreds of Israelis. This was a surprise to Israel and the whole world. In the evening of same Saturday, October 6th 2023, Israel started their retaliation; destructions everywhere, both in Israel and Palestine. Who is actually benefiting from this war? Due to the colossal damage on both sides peace is not in site. Both sides claimed reprisal and retaliation. Who is right and wrong is irrelevant at this point as serious damages have been done on both sides; both Israel and Palestine are in serious pains! Who is actually winning and who is actually losing these senseless wars?

I am sick and tired of the arguments of who is right and who is wrong! The West claim victory, and the East claim victory however, the only losers are the peoples of Israel and Palestine. Remember biblically these are the children of Abraham; brothers! There must be a new Yitzhak Rabin to sum up the courage to have another peace like the Oslo Acord. War is not good for anyone, not Palestinians who struck first nor the Israelis who retaliated! The results on both sides are untimely death and the destruction of properties. Oslo Accord was carried out secretly to avoid the West and the East sabotaging it. We really need peace between Israel and Palestine. With what happened yesterday and still happening, no one is winning the war; there is wanton destructions on both sides – NO ONE IS WINNING!

I really do not know the reason why United Nations was established. If that is for unity of purpose for the world, why is no one listening to them. Is United Nations as an institution just a talking shop? No matter what the UN has agreed upon, Europe and America do whatever they want. I have come to the conclusion that no one wants peace between Israel and Palestine. Based on this, Israel and Palestine must do what Yitzhak Rabin and Mahmoud Abbas did to find lasting solution for the two countries; the West will never do it for you, and the East will certainly not do it for you! Israel is strong militarily but they were taken by surprise by Hamas. It is obvious that they are far stronger than Hamas but retaliating heightens the conflict. I am not saying that they are wrong in retaliating but hundreds of innocent people have died untimely on both sides since yesterday morning. Israel and Palestine must forget about Europe and American, and the the Arab nations to negotiate another peace accord. I see people enjoying the scene on social media as if war is an entertainment. We want no more wars between Israel and Palestine. A neutral nation, such as China or any other friendly nations should take it as a point of humanitarian work to negotiate lasting peace between these two warring nations.

God-fearing nations should please take it upon themselves to mediate for peace between these two brothers.
