Do we agree that Nigeria has finally subdued the Igbos fifty four (54) years after the end of Biafra – Nigerian war? What led to the war? Ojukwu asked Nigerian government to take control of the situation and stop the killings of the Igbos up and down the cities of the Northern and Western Nigeria! January 1966 coup was collective actions of the young military from the North, East and West; it was never an Igbo coup! Out of the five (5) majors who planned and executed the January 1966 coup, one of them survived. He name was Major Ademoyega, and he published a book, titled “Nigeria Why We Struck”. Ademoyega and his book were silenced by both Nigerian government and Yoruba nation. The Yoruba press (Tribune and Punch) did everything they could to peddle unfair fairy tale about the war; everything they wrote was propaganda, completely false to advance the marginalisation of the Igbos. Igbos saved Awolowo and he praised Gowon because he needed a federal ministry position. The truth of what happened in the coup January 1966 is out there in the Western libraries all over the world but Nigerians do not read; they prefer to be acting on ignorance. Why did the Yoruba nation and Nigerian government sidelined Major Ademoyega, the only man who had the truth about the January 1966 coup? Nigerians have been fed with false messages, information and data, and they have been conditioned to lies, how can they regain their ability to reason and think for themselves? Obasanjo knows they truth; he was Major Nzeogwu’s friend. General Gowon knows the truth; he was 2nd in command after Ironsi. Can Gowon tell Nigerians his true story of January 1966 and his action on the Night of July 1966 coup? Why did he not pick Ironsi’s telephone calls to send for help? All these stories and facts are documented in European and American libraries. General T Y Danjuma knows the truth, especially July 1966 coup; why is he quiet? Nigerians are evil and prefer going to bed with the devil as long as it means suppressing and marginalising the Igbos! Nigerians clap and cheer when Igbos are killed by Fulani militia or Nigerian army, why? The denial of Peter Obi of the Nigerian presidency is a direct challenge by Nigerians to the Igbos. During the war, Nigerian government used the people of the old River State, especially the present day Bayelsa State to gain access into Biafran land and sea. In 2023 suppression of the Igbos, they used Wike who denied his origin for political gains. He claimed that he is not Igbo but all Nigerians know that he is a typical Igbo man.
However, how can the Igbos free themselves from the firm grip of Nigeria? Do not forget that Britain is fully against the Igbos and are in full support of Nigerian government actions against the Igbos. Britain is fully aware of the kidnapping and the detention of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. Igbos must not expect anything from Britain. Freedom of the Igbos will mean the end of Royal Niger Delta or British economic interest in West Africa. The ignorance of Nigerians is helping Britain to maintain their grip on Nigeria. Igbos are working to free themselves and other Nigerians however, other Nigerians prefer to be manipulated and controlled by Britain. Igbos have been protesting against Britain since 1929 when we had Aba Women riot! Igbos want freedom but other Nigerians want to be controlled by others. Igbos must not expect any help from the United States of America because of their special interests arrangements with Britain. America cannot lose Britain as they need them to maintain their influence and interest on Europe. The only American president that can think of any actions on Nigeria is Donald Trump because he is not a typical politician. However, how then do the Igbos free themselves? Do we now align ourselves to Russian and China? Britain and America will do anything to stop it! Igbos, do you now see how sunk we are? We are in deep blue sea! Due to economic and political interests of Europe and America, we have no friend and we have no messiah coming to save us. Our political leaders have been bought; Ohaneze and Nde Eze Igbo receive gratifications from the federal and the state governments. He who pays the piper dictates the tune. Ohaneze has been compromised. Members of Ohaneze are political leaders who receive gratifications from the federal and state governments. With Hope Uzodinma in charge in Owerri and Soludo in charge in Awka, the issue of Biafra is grinding to a halt. Nde Eze Igbo are toothless bull dog, no powers whatsoever. They are under the control of the politicians who take orders from Abuja and Sokoto. Igbos are in serious danger and in serious trouble. Where is our messiah coming from? Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is in perpetual detention, Simon Ekpa is far away in Finland, and they are looking for a way to either kill him or kidnap him as they did to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu. All the bushes of Igboland are occupied by Fulani terrorists, and now Hope Uzodinma in connivance with the United Nations and Nigeria wants to bring the terrorists’ wives and children into Igboland to form IDP camp, really? That is another form of RUGA and Igbos must stop this danger waiting to happen. This singular action, if allowed to happen is an insult to the Igbos, dead and alive. Who is the Igbo leader presently? Dr Ezeife is dead, oha Mbazulike Amaechi is dead, Oha Iwuanyanwu is dead, Ada Mazi Onyeka Onwenu is dead; who speaks for the Igbos presently? I am tired of writing as it is not making any impact! All Igbos have screemed and shouted for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu but Nigerian government and Igbo suppressor are quietly loving it, enjoying the groaning of Igbos. Where is our help coming from? Our brothers in government are used to suppress us; Ohaneze is powerless, and Nde Eze Igbo are nothing but toothless bull dog; Sunday Igboho who committed similar offence as Mazi Nnamdi Kanu is enjoying himself at home. The Yoruba leaders worked tirelessly to release him; who is to talk for for the release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu? Igbo leaders are two-faced individuals; what they say in private is not what they say in public. As the situation is now, the federal government, including the eastern state governments do not want Mazi Nnamdi Kanu released any time soon. Igbos’ back bones have been broken, don’t you see the handwriting on the wall? We are in a long haul and in trouble! Our politicians, Ohaneze and Nde Eze cannot liberate us; we must find a way to emancipate ourselves with our collective community effort and coordination. I rest my case!
My name remains Oguchi Martins Egbujor, your messenger of truth. I have writing to the Igbos; others can read it if they want to. Where are we going from here? Marginalisation and suppression of the Igbos are real; every Nigerian knows it and they are loving it! The gossip behind the door is “very soon Igbos would be broken”; they planned it, they are executing it. We saw the videos circulating on social media but we did not take it serious. The chicken has come home to roost. Are we in doubt? He who has ear let him hear!
