Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care (QN: 601/8855/8)
NCFE/CACHE Level 2 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care
- School Fee: NGN650,000 (Promotional Fee for the 1st 50 students is NGN525,000)
- Registration Fee: (All Course Programmes is £240 or equivalent in Naira)
- Minimum Entry Requirements: 16 years and above; can speak, read and write in English
- Course Duration: six (6) months (runs three (3) days a week)
- Course Programme Structure:
- Two (2) on-campus lectures (Tuesdays and Wednesdays (10am – 1pm)
- One (1) Microsoft Team online lecture (Mondays (10am – 3pm)
- Placement (Work Experience): There is seventy-five (75) hours of work experience in hospital, medical clinics or any other health and social care setting.
- Academic Holidays: There is no academic holiday except gazetted public holidays in Nigeria
- Starting Date: October 2024

- HSC M5: Working in health and social care (R/508/3713)
- HSC O7: Infection prevention and control in health and social care (M/508/3721)
- HSC O10: Nutrition for health and social care (F/508/3724)
Assessment and Grading
All the seven (7) course units are assignment based and graded D – A*1 passes.
Your grade will depend on the quality of your assignments, and this is based according to the UK National Standards on teaching and learning, assessment and grading. Each unit grade is registered on the UK’s National Educational Database.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism means claiming work to be your own which has been copied from someone or somewhere else. All the work you submit must be your own and not copied from anyone else unless you clearly reference the source of your information. Your Tutor will explain how to provide a reference list that shows where you found your information. If your Centre discovers evidence that your work is copied from elsewhere, it will not be accepted, and you may be subject to your Centre’s or our disciplinary procedure. If this happens you will have to submit an additional piece of work for assessment. We will be notified of any cases of plagiarism.
Buying and Selling Assignments
Offering to buy or sell assignments is not allowed. This includes using sites such as eBay, myessaywriting, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and others. If this happens, we reserve the right to expel you from the course programme and will not accept future entries from you.
