I am inviting all Africans to join me in discussing this topic. We have been under slavery for centuries; enslaved by Europe, and later, America is added in the midst. They gave us on paper what they termed as independence, and at the same time, took control of our brains, our minds, and our resources. They dictate to us who becomes a leader, and who becomes a spectator. They controlled our minds, allowing the worst of us to control the best. They engineered military coups to remove the best brain, and use vote rigging to install the worst of us. They led the blind to lead the good-sighted individuals. They imposed economic systems, political systems, media systems, resources-controlled systems (UN, World trade, World bank, IMF, etc.), military systems, education systems, behavioural systems, and others. African development remains an illusion; best brains destroyed or enticed to move to the west. Have you realised that education is dead in Africa? As a teacher in His Majesty’s Kingdom, l have the experience to say that very few are educated in Africa, especially Nigeria; majority have no clue of the certificates in their hands, especially the politically engineered graduates. Most of them who graduated in Europe and America did not write their assignments and dissertations; they paid someone else to write it for them. Africa is in trouble! Based on the above, how then does Africa liberate herself? African management and leadership is filled with mediocrity, nepotism, ineptitude, my-turn syndrome, and corrupt minds; how do we really free ourselves from practical and mental slavery? I am really concerned! How do we develop men of integrity to lead us to freedom? What is your contribution to this?
